Hi, I'm April!

I am a Storyteller. My Passion is helping women unlock the story within, so they can own it, speak it, and share it with others. 

It doesn't matter if you are a preacher, an artist, an entrepreneur, or factory worker -- YOU have a story, and it holds a powerful message others need to hear!

I have a 25+ year career as a TV Journalist, Video Producer, Writer and Speaker; I know the value of stories.... and I know how to help YOU make sense of yours.

I know it's hard because I had to figure this out for myself, too. Building my own business, I knew it was going to be incredibly important I learn to tell my own story.... and I really struggled at first (even though I teach this stuff!!) 

The key points of your story have to do with your journey and where you've struggled along the way, and how you've thrived. 

For me, I struggled as a young journalist who was tasked with telling "the bad news" every day. While busy chasing Fire trucks and Police cars for stories, I longed for the human interest stories I was much more interested in telling. 

Realizing my career path as a broadcast journalist was only going to lead me down a path of depression, I made a pivotal career change. 

I decided my work would have meaning! And by that, I was going to focus on people's stories.

It was the best decision I ever made because  now I get to focus on the positivity and purpose every story holds... and that feels really good to me!  

Yes, even a story riddled with pain, sadness, and disappoint has hope and meaning. I promise, it's in there! 

If you're stuck, that just means the story is holding power of you. Instead, I'd like to show you how to USE your story in a powerful way!

When you share your story from this lens, you attract an audience because humans are drawn to good stories! It's how we're wired!!
